Accuracy of Book Profile
The book profile does do a good job of reflecting the book without giving away the surprise of tooting fruity cereal. The development may benefit from even more explanation about how the story could be expanded as a series based on more thematic elements being introduced. The listing of a car as one the characters could also be changed to the family as the cat is more of a character than the car.
Draw of Story
Rosie's dog story is cute and appealing to kids. The conflict is easy to follow with a good lesson for a family media piece.
Possible Drawbacks
It is a bit hard to see how the conflict would be sustained for longer than a short. The family characters are a bit underdeveloped despite showing their unique character dynamics with Rosie. Adding more escalating plot points and subplots about Rosie and her family aside from just the allergic reaction might help make the story seem more able to sustain a half hour show or a feature.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
The hook is that Rosie's allergic reaction teaches an important lesson to kids about taking care of their pets and making sure they don't eat what they are supposed to. It takes a serious lesson in an engaging and funny manner with a luckily happy ending.
Fanbase Potential
This could potentially be popular with families with young kids depending on the medium it is adapted into as long as the conflict can be sustained throughout the story for a longer period of time and the side characters become further developed.
Awards Potential
This could potentially have awards potential in the children's market but is unlikely to gain recognition depending on style for adult prestige awards due to its simplicity and poop focus.

What’s New About the Story
The originality of the story stems from the highly specific lesson of a responsible handle on allergies in a respectful but fun manner and also that the story focuses on taking care of pets.
Lead Characters
Rosie is a curious, bold and loving pet. Her family is supportive and helpful as well as responsible. The cat is beleaguered but overall a good sport.
Uniqueness of Story
This is a cute story, but the conflict is perhaps a bit too simple and the side characters are not as developed to sustain a longer story than a couple of scenes.
Possible Formats
Film: Streaming TV Series: Limited Run / Mini-Series, Streaming, Network
Analyst Recommendation
WORK IN PROGRESS
Justification
While the story has many positive points, it has room for improvement (see possible paths below). If you can't change the story at this point, my suggestion is using your notes as a guide to highlight the best aspects of it when taking the next steps, either putting a pitch page together, a treatment, or a presentation.
Tips for Improvement
By fleshing out the side characters with subplots or further developing their character dynamics with Rosie as well as how responsibility is delegated after Rosie's accident could help develop the family theme of taking care of the family pet. Also adding more complications to the conflict could help prolong the climax to lengthen the pacing to a more normal length that viewers are used to as shorts are hard to market unless kept strictly online.
