The profile does discuss the book fairly accurately although it is unclear that the therapist is the narrator and technically the protagonist of the story in the profile. By expanding more on the themes and lessons the pitch will be improved in how it's unique rather than comparing to other media.

The clients all having relationship problems despite their high profile jobs makes them relatable. Dishonesty that is set up in the beginning leaves a good foundation for future conflict.

The structure of the spread out couples and narrative perspective as the removed therapist makes it hard to track the characters' progress at time due to their limited inner transformations.

THE STORY DOES NOT RELY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

The hook is the diversity in the relationships of the characters and how everyone is connected through their city church. It feels like a community, but some within are out to sabotage one another.

This could potentially have a large fanbase due to its adult content and diversity with some shifts on messaging and narrative structure.

This is unlikely to have awards potential unless more characters have apparent inner conflicts and transformations separate from their romances.

The originality of the story stems from the complex character dynamics at hand, but increasing the emotional investment and depth of the character would help them as individuals feel more dynamic rather than static.

Debbie is entitled and selfish. James is a bit of a wet blanket but sweet. Javon is dishonest but carefree.

This has some potential with greater individual character development to match the complex dynamics at hand.

Creating greater inner conflicts and transformations for the characters separate from their romances and family relationships could help increase their emotional investment within the conflicts. Altering the structure to have more perspectives of the ensemble rather than from the narrator could also help achieve further tension.
