About The Author

I was a rodeo cowboy who never won the world or even close to it. Yes, I was injured on the job thus had to allow my Injury to dictate events from that day forward. years earlier, I had attended college majoring In rodeo and girls with a minor In beer and study. sadly, I own up to the fact that my interest was in that order. pondering, then wishing I would have been capable of retaining the overabundance of intellectual worthiness that seemed to hold me captive at that point in time. Reflecting on these particular events from the past gives validity to the expression: If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!

Accuracy of Book Profile

It is accurate, but the logline could explain more about the plot itself than actually about the book's concept. As the profile descriptions are more conceptual, and we have Rudy's profile only, when the reader gets in contact with the book, it requires an understanding of what it is about from scratch.

Draw of Story

The language used by the author is differentiated. A mixture of oral language with thoughts and a poetic tone makes the work appears more complex.

Possible Drawbacks

This complexity in language makes reading a little more challenging. At the same time that it instigates you to want to know where the plot will take you, this sequence of sentences and thoughts makes the whole thing less fluid.

Use of Special Effects

THE STORY DOES NOT RELY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

Primary Hook of Story

The hook is how a betrayal can profoundly affect someone's mind and life.

Fanbase Potential

Perhaps, the author's narrative style may attract fans of indie products with a minimalist narrative.

Awards Potential

If it focuses more on the drama arising from a betrayal and its implications to someone's life, it could have the potential for awards. But the author would need to refine his narrative to make it more dramatically appealing.

What’s New About the Story

The language used by the author, and the way he tells the narrative, sounds more unusual than the plot itself.

Lead Characters

Rudy is the central character, and the whole story revolves around him. Certainly, a complex character as we can get to know a bit of how he thinks and how he acts. This difference between wanting and doing makes his arc more complex, and the narrative takes on a minimalist look.

Uniqueness of Story

It's not a rare gem. It is a film about betrayal and divorce that has the narrative language as its differential point.

Analyst Recommendation

WORK IN PROGRESS

Justification

While the story has many positive points, it has room for improvement (see possible paths below). If you can't change the story at this point, my suggestion is using your notes as a guide to highlight the best aspects of it when taking the next steps, either putting a pitch page together, a treatment, or a presentation.

Tips for Improvement

The language used by the author, which brings some confusion in reading, is somewhat positive, as it shows a little of the turmoil of internal disorders going through the main character's head. And bringing some of this confusion to the cinematographic text would be interesting too. But the narrative structure needs a little more cohesion in the way of telling. The chapter division seen in the book would have to be fitted into a smoothly flowing narrative so that the plot becomes more understandable and more appealing to movie audiences. Internal conflicts are always welcome, especially in a minimalist narrative, but how to insert this amount of thoughts in a structure that did not depend solely on a narrator? It is a challenge that could help the plot to take audiovisual form and reach a more cinema-oriented audience. Rudy's character is interesting, but presenting more realistically the other characters around him could be a good way to better present Rudy's inner struggles. Having a comparison of the way these people really are and the way Rudy sees them would be an efficient method to make the plot more complex and make Rudy a more interesting character. The book has a good concept about divorce, but it would need more beats and plot arc development to achieve greater cinematic potential.
