Accuracy of Book Profile
It is accurate.
Draw of Story
The characters, especially Kelly. She looks complex and smart since page one, and has a coherent development arc, being the main conductor to the narrative. She gets the spotlight by having good dialogues and attitude even when the circumstances or the story itself doesn’t help her, like in the period he is living as a hostage under Grant’s.
Possible Drawbacks
The story is not well written, and this plot was already repeated many times before, including in a very popular book series that turned in a TV show, like happened to True Blood. But focusing in the small, local, scales can turn this plot in something interesting with good characters and some fun magical and brutal moments.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY RELIES HEAVILY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
Kelly’s arc. How she goes from the daughter of a con man to a fae princess while being central to a vampire lords’ war. And how she takes control over her on life.
Fanbase Potential
Even saturated with vampire and supernatural hidden societies’ stories, I think the public interested in these Urban Fantasy movies and TV Shows are very eager for even more content like this. They want nice characters to relate and good, thrilling ships to have.
Awards Potential
Only with the focus on characters and special effects. These are the main strengths of Paid in Full, with anyone who plays Kelly’s role possessing a good award potential if well conducted.
Envisioned Budget

What’s New About the Story
To be honest, there’s nothing original about this story, the plot is very similar to True Blood even in the characterizations and in the plot development but can become more unique taking the story far from the vampires and faes, having Kelly to discover her origin for herself and not as some toy being held by these powerful supernatural creatures. She has the potential to do this.
Lead Characters
Kelly is very smart and independent. She is a person who grew up deprived from a normal family and had to develop the abilities to survive with a con man as a father. She explores a lot of this potential, but she can do much more without the chains imposed to her by the story, like being Grant’s hostage and only moving forward when someone kidnaps her.
Uniqueness of Story
No, it’s not. This can be improved getting the story into another direction, giving more agency to Kelly and having her explore this supernatural world she just discovered.

Analyst Recommendation
WORK IN PROGRESS
Justification
Because this is not a original story yet. Paid in Full replicates a lot of well-known movies and tv shows about vampires and the supernatural. But it has a character full of potential in Kelly and can exploit her to turn this story into something special.
Tips for Improvement
Delivering the plot into Kelly’s hand, making her the lead character she can be, using her as an active agent in presenting the public to this supernatural world.
Brief
Kelly’s follows her father in what looks like another excuse deal with some crime lord. What she doesn’t imagine is that Finn, the man with whom her father has a deal, will be the door to a new, supernatural world. She is kidnapped by a vampire called Grant, who sees her as his fated mate, someone who is bonded to him by the destiny and wants to protect her.
What We Liked
Kelly has a huge potential to become a very good character, she only needs to have more agency over her own narrative. She is also surrounded by other interesting characters as Nick and Joe, and a fascinating world — even not being original.
Film: As a movie this story can lean a little more to the horror genre, with Kelly being caught by this hidden supernatural world when she leaves her father’s house, discovering she is being hunted by Finn and getting close to Grant, who wants to protect her from the beginning, but from Kelly’s point of view, looks more like being stalked by this hypnotic, scary man. Think in something like The Lost Boys.
TV: Paid in Full have the potential to be a supernatural-like TV show, where Kelly is held as hostage by Grant, but escape with Nick’s help and start to explore this new world discovered by her, in a monster of the week structure. Everything while Finn and Grant hunt them both, each one with his own reasons. The fae concept can be slowly introduced, but trough Kelly’s eyes, not with someone explaining the plot to her. Kelly and Nick have a good chemistry to deliver a fan favorite duo with little comedy and a lot of drama.
Key points:
1. The main character.
2. The good guys win in the end.
3. Hints a sequence.
4. Urban fantasy is a very popular genre.
5. Fits very well to a young adult audience.
Synopsis
KELLY KENNEDY watches her father JOE negotiating with a crime lord in Las Vegas, she doesn’t like the situation. Her father already has a job but insists on these excuse deals. KELLY does not like FINN, the mobster, she sees him as a threat to her and JOE.
In another place, GRANT is called by ALEX, his maker. They’re both vampires, and they also have some business to deal with FINN, the crime lord who KELLY and JOE met. He is also a vampire. There are rumors about him kidnapping humans to sell as blood bags. GRANT is sent to FINN's place, where he is receiving guests for a poker night. This is where KELLY and GRANT meet each other for the first time, and the vampire feels something different for her.
After a fight with her father, KELLY run away from home. GRANT’s vampire partners find KELLY, rescue her and make her safe from JOE and his debts. KELLY confronts GRANT when they finally met. She thinks he is the one wanting to kidnap her to make JOE pay his debts. KELLY eventually understands she must trust GRANT, at least for now. KELLY discovers this mysterious energy emanates from her. She is part fae and this is the kind of thing that can generate a political crisis inside the supernatural world.
This moves KELLY forward, creating a conflict between her and GRANT about her condition as a hostage. GRANT gives her the truth: he is not able to free KELLY, because he serves ALEX wishes as being his creator, and he must obey his Master Vampire.
GRANT then makes KELLY a proposal: she proves to him and ALEX she can have the freedom needed, offering her the possibility of going out alone, only having to assure she’ll be back until the end of the day. But not before some self-defense training.
KELLY discovers at the same time that her father is dead, and her deceased mother wasn’t human. It bothers her so much that it drives her to run away with NICK's, one of GRANT's men, help. FINN captures KELLY and NICK in a mall. He says KELLY’s grandfather made a deal with him to retrieve her as a favor. KELLY meets her grandfather and discovers her fae name: KELLIA.
She is a princess among the fae. Her grandfather confesses being the one who demanded FINN to find her, and he planned to do this by negotiating her with JOE. But GRANT rescues her before the FAE KING takes her to his world. KELLY feels at home for the first time in her life when she is at GRANT's place, but there is no time much time. ALEX says the KING is still after her, and the only way to keep KELLY safe is by marrying her to a vampire, forming a life bond. She accepts.
