Those Sugar-Barge Kids
Logline
When three Tasmanian children meet up with a couple of home-alone alternative-lifestyle kids who live on an old barge in New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, they soon find themselves heavily involved in a conflict with one of the local oyster-farmers over the release of plastics in the waterways. The outcome is a triumph of lateral thinking, and a signal to youngsters around the globe that it is possible to bring about positive environmental outcomes, even when adults are reluctant to change their ways.
