    Draw of Story

The way it captures the essence of the immigrant experience and showcases the impact of heritage resonated with me, making the story both relatable and emotionally involving.

    Possible Drawbacks

The book held my attention throughout, but certain sections lacked proper punctuation and consistent formatting, occasionally causing confusion (example, page 43). Another thing is the intermittent disappearance (unrelated to the time of his arrest during war) of one of the most interesting characters, Rosario. Despite this, the narrative’s grip remained strong, compelling me to stay engaged despite these minor inconsistencies.
