Logline

He divorced me, so why is he walking into my kitchen in the middle of suppertime, Carrie yells to her housemate Hester. He fell asleep, he says, he got off the train at the old stop. So then Hester invites him for dinner. Afterward, he falls asleep and stays the night. Next day he’s ill and stays three weeks while Hester jollies him with tales of ex-urban boredom and why she left her husband. Their children look on. And then something awful happens and everything changes.
