    Accuracy of Book Profile

    Book profile works!

    Draw of Story

A badass female fighter pilot who joins the CIA and uncovers a bunch of family secrets? I was intrigued from the very start.

    Possible Drawbacks

There was a lot of over-explaining of technical elements of planes and flying that weren't necessary to the main plot of the story and can easily be cut out.

    Use of Special Effects

THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

    Primary Hook of Story

A female fighter pilot in the Navy joins the CIA and uncovers family secrets while racing to recover a Weapon of Mass Destruction lost in the Vietnam War. Action, adventure, a strong female lead, romance, mystery, and even history and international relations.

    Fanbase Potential

This could definitely have a large fanbase within fans of action movies, warfare movies, and strong female leads.

    Awards Potential

I could see some technical awards being given.

    Envisioned Budget

    LARGE BUDGET

    What’s New About the Story

It has a female main character who is a fighter pilot. The other characters could be fleshed out a bit more in order to continue to increase the uniqueness.

    Lead Characters

Rawley is brave, incredibly talented, and still feminine. She's empathetic and smart and she uses her skills wisely.

    Uniqueness of Story

This could be a rare gem if the main story was sharpened and the characters were a bit more fleshed out.

    Synopsis

Rawley West is a Navy fighter pilot who has just been offered a secretive job with the CIA. Unable to resist the chance at even more adventure, Rawley agrees to leave the service and join the CIA. Once she starts training, she's surprised to learn that it's not only led by her father, but a group of men who she's known her entire life. Her father, Bud, explains that he's sorry for the secrecy, but he and her mother, Sally, wanted it to be her own choice. Rawley trains with her father and learns that her mother is one of the best sharpshooters in the country.

Rawley is soon tasked with her first assignment--her godfather, Gil, is getting older, and some of their colleagues worry he may be too old to fly missions. Rawley is given the job of deciding if she should replace him or not. While flying with Gil, Rawley judges that he is still able to fly and tells him that he can continue to fly as long as he wants. Rawley's first official mission is to rescue an undercover agent and his prisoner, but things go awry when their plane is shot down. Rawley acts fast and is able to save both the agent and the prisoner, and leaves the scene with only a minor wound in her leg. However, she soon learns that the undercover agent is her ""missing"" ex-boyfriend, Rip. Rip apologizes and explains that he got recruited for the CIA while they were still in college and wasn't able to tell her.

Rawley and Rip are assigned to be a part of a team recovering a weapon of mass destruction that has been missing since the Vietnam war. First, they go to Cuba, where they find that it has just been taken. One of Rip's old sailing friends invites Rip to join him in a sailing race from Cuba to Key West, Florida, and Rip invites Rawley to meet him there. In Florida, they discover that the person in current possession of the WMD is Daiki Masogi, an elderly survivor of the Nagasaki bomb. Rawley learns that there is a Truman family reunion at the Truman House in Key West that evening and realizes that it's where Masogi is planning the attack. Rip is shot, and Rawley takes care of him and then finds the man with the WMD and guns him down before he can set it off. Rawley and Rip get back together.
