Brian Ellis is a former soldier and paratrooper whose career spanned twenty-two years in the Infantry, Signal Corps, and mostly Airborne Infantry or Infantry enabler units, to include three deployments with the 82D Airborne Division to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Hurricane Katrina. He served two more combat tours, in Iraq as a State Department police advisor, and in Afghanistan as a member of the 42D Military Police Group. Brian retired from Active Service in 2016 as a Major.
