On the eve of the Second World war, a German archaeologist is approached by an infamous Grail seeker who tells him a fantastic story of Templars, Church scandal, a long-buried manuscript, and the key to finding the famous lost treasure of the Cathars. With the help of a group of American soldiers, the archaeologist sets out on his quest for the secret of the Cathar treasure.

Short Summary

Archaeologist Gerhard Denninger comes into possession of a coded document that will show the location of a long lost treasure. With the help of infamous Grail seeker Otto Rahn and a group of displaced American soldiers, Denninger's quest takes him down an unexpected road with shocking twists.

Denninger's discovery of the true nature of the Cathar treasure is shocking and could have global repercussions. After the treasure is presumed destroyed, Denninger continues his archaeological work. To his surprise, Otto Rahn reappears with the treasure intact setting off a last series of twists.
