Growing up as the grand-daughter to the local monster hunter is not so bad, until Anna Ford has to prove to the school bus bully that the legendary sighting of the Honey Island Swamp Monster was not a hoax. To top that off, the bully's father, who owns the local swamp tour, is trying to steal her grandfather's legacy and their swampland out from under them. So, Anna convinces her best friends to go along with her on a swampy adventure to collect new evidence and prove that the legend is not a hoax. But, they soon find themselves in a very, hairy situation.

I grew up in the Louisiana Honey Island Swamp.  It was my grandfather, Harlan Ford, who was the first eye-witness to report a sighting of the legendary Honey Island Swamp Monster after he poured plaster castings of its tracks.  He appeared on a TV show called, "In Search Of" back in the early '70s, which helped spread his story worldwide.  I later decided to continue my grandfather's research and make a documentary film and write books about his encounter, as well as many more recent sightings from locals.  My film and books have led me to make guest appearances on TV shows such as; "Mysteries at the Museum," "Swamp People," "Swamp Monsters," "Fact or Faked Paranormal Files," and "Hannity's America" on Fox News, to name a few.   As you are probably aware by now, my experiences growing up as the grand-daughter to the local monster hunter is what inspired this book.   You can find out more about the real legend on my website.
