Development Pitch
To Whom it May Concern, I'm willing to write a story about a young woman and her family traveling to the backwoods of New Orleans and comes across a mysterious carnival that will change their lives forever. Jenny LeBlanc is a strong protagonist that is willing to protect her family from the evil ringmaster, Sebastian the Great, but realizes that her family has done so much problematic things that she starts to question herself and her sanity. Sebastian the Great is a sadistic antagonist that is willing expose Jenny and her family and trap them inside the Midnight Carnival forever. The carnival is a purgatory for all the people who have committed horrible acts and were terrible people in their lives. I believe my story is a great story to publish because it teaches a lesson about how people should treat one another better, or else karma could come after you and your problematic past could be exposed. It also explains how you should be aware of your surroundings and the places you come across. The stories that I've written in the past, along with this book, contains lessons that everyone should understand in their lives and The Midnight Carnival does just that. I hope this pitch was very helpful and I look forward to hearing from you. If you have anymore questions about this story, feel free to ask and I'll be able to answer them for you. Warm Regard, Anissa Danyell Hunter
