Short Summary

Wes Hardin kills over 40 men, but he never wants to kill any. No one knows that better than Jane, the love of his life. Even she can't stop him from being drawn into a blood feud that changes their lives forever. Thru the cruelties of prison, he becomes a lawyer, but his old enemies seek him out.

Wes is released from prison and opens a law office, but his old habits come back to visit, and a retired lawman murders him in a saloon. His best friend, a Texas Ranger, reflects on his tragic life.
