THE SCHOHARIE is a supernatural disaster story loosely based on true events - the 1987 collapse of a bridge on the I-90 Thruway in rural New York, as a result of unprecedented flooding of the Schoharie Creek. A Native American volunteer firefighter's near death experience due to the collapse of a major thruway bridge triggers a supernatural connection with the dead who are trying to warn him of a spiritual force that tried to wreak havoc on the community 30 years ago through his mentally unstable father.
