Short Summary
Dana Canfield leaves mainland Virginia after the murder of her husband for a job renovating the Main Street retail area on Providence Island. She meets handsome garage owner Nick Warden who rescues her from a near hit-and-run on her first day.
Dana is saved from her husband's killer by an unknown shooter. Nick and Dana plan a future together and pursue more answers to the secrets in her past in book 2, Towne Square.

Development Pitch
A recently widowed interior designer starts a new life on Providence Island where she finds a secret connection to her past and the murder of her husband. A renovation project on Main Street is her chance to start a new life. Her first day is marred by a close call with an out-of-control driver, but she’s saved from serious injury by handsome garage owner Nick Warden. Dana’s BMW caught Nick’s eye, but it’s the woman behind the wheel who captures his heart. When a break-in occurs at Dana’s house, Nick begins to wonder if there’s a connection with the near hit-and-run as well as other mysterious incidents that occurred since James Canfield’s death. Or does the connection go back even further to a car accident two decades ago that left Dana struggling with memory loss? Dana’s professional life is put at risk when architect Rhys McCall learns the details of that long ago car wreck. Details that match those that caused the death of his mother and leaving him to wonder what role Dana played in that accident. As relationships and friendships are formed, other characters find unexpected connections as well. One connection brings unexpected joy to Dana while the other may end her life.
