A man, working on Wall Street, lives with a woman who for medical reasons becomes unable to engage in sexual relations. The situation puts him in a quandary until a man introduces him to a clinic that uses the recorded brain waves of other people to project him into their sexual experiences.

Douglas Murphy is a physiatrist living in Charlottesville, Virginia. Aside from an academic life in physical medicine and rehabilitation that includes research into highly technical areas such as the brain computer interface, he enjoys writing fiction that focuses on technical developments that place humankind in a perilous relationship with computers and technologies of the brain, mind, human personality and medicine. His books include thrillers and tales of espionage with the one exception of Translator's Kiss which concerns the humorous romantic entanglement of four people in New York City.
