Following Santa's Dream
Logline
Following Santa's Dream from Tales of the Crystal Cave is the first book written to tell the tale of the elves who work for Santa. Building the Workshop from Tales of the Crystal Cave is the second book in the series. Many of the characters involved are main characters described in the first book. The Elf Family has arrived at the North Pole ready to help Santa make his dream come true. For years Santa has dreamed of building a toy shop so he could deliver toys to the children of the world. Many obstacles have to be conquered. How can they produce the large number of toys needed? How will Santa deliver the toys? It is not an easy challenge but Santa and the Elf Family are determined to see the dream come true. Villains, selfish and mean, are just as determined to gain money from the accomplishments that the Elf Family have achieved. It becomes a serious situation, putting love and sharing against greed and cruelty. Building the Workshop from Tales of the Crystal Cave should appeal to children of all ages. It stresses love, sharing, perseverance and patience and how these tools alone can often overcome any obstacles a child might face.
