Logline
After 15 year old Jonah discovers his dad’s secret past as a 70’s rock star, he convinces him to reunite their band and they record a song in their basement. However, when Jonah emails that song to his friends pretending not to know who the band is, and they email it to a local radio station claiming it’s their band, the song ends up playing on the station’s network all across the country, turning the boy’s make-believe band into an Overnight Sensation. Suddenly, Jonah and his friends are caught up in a whirlwind of lies and instant fame, while running from a ruthless record executive who will stop at nothing to keep the lie alive.
