Development Pitch

This story is about an impression of loss. It's about the ghost in the room. A sin that you can't escape from. Proudly, it is a study into the metaphysics of absent love. Purgatorium is like a lucid dream filled with feelings of sadness and regrets. It's Solitary atmosphere brings unknown dimensions to this world almost like learning to live in the wilderness. It’s kind of like a mix between Ground Hog Day and The Matrix with a dark, sci-fi twist.

About The Author

J. H. Carnathan is from Tennessee and lives in Birmingham, Alabama for the time being. He is a fervent fan of honor, loyalty and chivalry. He loves to create worlds where men and women are emotionally broken and how they must find their way out of that darkness. Carnathan is the author of the novel PURGATORIUM. Originally, this book was written as a screenplay, but as the story unfolded and throughout the editing process, it became clear that it was best fitted for a novel first. His degree in screenwriting from the University of Birmingham, Alabama gives his work a crisp, visual feel.
