Development Pitch
A satirical, almost prophetic look at President Trump and the first family as they spend the 4th of July 2020 weekend in the Hamptons at the oceanfront castle of Russian oligarch Dmitriy Volkov. Between Southampton and East Hampton lies the incorporated village of Wolfhampton, the most exclusive, expensive, and scary ‘Hampton’. Only ninety miles from the city, Wolfhampton is a haven and sanctuary for the wealthiest, most powerful people in the world. Many want to live there, but few can afford to, and fewer are welcome. There are plenty of celebrities, billionaires, and Russians; one man, Dmitriy Volkov, is all three. When two young girls commit suicide, Dmitriy Volkov aka Wolf becomes the person of interest when their deaths are ruled as possible homicides. Volkov seeks a diversion and invites his friend, the President of the United States, for the weekend. The president because of his own needed distractions accepts and he along with First Lady Melania, and Third Son Barron escape to Volkov’s Wolfhampton estate for a July 4th weekend of solitude. But there in the wolf’s own lair, the unspeakable occurs. Putin and his Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, known as the SVR aka KGB alumni, decide the time is right to crush POTUS, Wall Street, and the Wolf, all in one smooth hammer blow. What happens that weekend in Wolfhampton will change President Trump, America, and the world in ways never imagined.

Accuracy of Book Profile
Yes the book profile accurately depicts the story presented in the book. The pitch could include further themes as to why the plot is marketable because a more indepth summary just enhances the logline and short summary. It might be better to include a congress character such as Pelosi and of Schumer as the dog character has far less scenes.
Draw of Story
The satire that Trump is the mastermind behind the outcome of booth Congress and the presidential election is interesting as is the Russian politics imagined at the Hampton retreat. The direction of the plot progression is tied just enough to the real world that is plausible but is the more exciting and hopeful version of what could have transpired.
Possible Drawbacks
There are a lot of characters the require total fluency in American politics and rely on prior knowledge of political personalities to create tension at certain points in the narrative which may not age well if personalities are forgotten as many side characters are not established or three-dimensional based solely on their mentions in the book. Making sure the side characters function without prior knowledge to their real- life persona would help the story stand -alone regardless of who it is based on or the literacy of the audience.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
The hook is that there is a kidnapping of Trump's son that sets of an unprecedented chain of events involving changing the wealth of the Trump empire and the politics of the United States thanks to Russian aggressions.
Fanbase Potential
The plot is quite dense with political exposition so may fare as more popular with a smaller educated crowd, but depending on the genre and focus on the Wolfhampton weekend versus the political backstory, this could have a larger audience if less satirical and more action oriented with a smaller focus of the timeline.
Awards Potential
This is unlikely to have awards potential because while the characters are satires of real life characters, the individual characters are mostly static and thus do no show range as needed for acting nominations based off the roles provided.
Envisioned Budget
MEDIUM BUDGET

What’s New About the Story
The originality stems from the imagined moments such as the kidnapping and weekend with the Russian because it provides unexpected outcomes. Having a smaller focus on the timeline could help the characters expand in original ways as well rather than being packed with political change through reveals of hidden motivations to actual history.
Lead Characters
Trump is shrewd, direct and remains slightly delusional but not always to his detriment. Putin is agitated and insecure. Pelosi is skeptical and calculating. Schumer is calm and methodical.
Uniqueness of Story
This is an interesting concept, but the characters are mainly static and the pacing stagnates through political discussions rather than a balance of actions.

Analyst Recommendation
WORK IN PROGRESS
Justification
While the story has many positive points, it has room for improvement (see possible paths below). If you can't change the story at this point, my suggestion is using your notes as a guide to highlight the best aspects of it when taking the next steps, either putting a pitch page together, a treatment, or a presentation.
Tips for Improvement
Creating characters with clear internal conflicts and transformations that exist outside of prior knowledge to their real world counterpart will help them feel more three dimensional. All of the political discussion could be trimmed to focus more on showing action rather than telling it to correct some of the pacing. Streamlining the focus of the main conflict as consistently developing rather than pausing for subplots may also help adjust the pacing.
