Life in a Box, a character-driven work of literary fiction, asks the question how much would you sacrifice to hide a secret. The answer reveals itself as Andee Camp inherits a box of family history and a challenge from her mother to write a novel based on their ancestors. Colorful characters combine to narrate a story full of mystery and history, heartache and humor, love and betrayal as the saga of two sets of twins born on the same day, one set in Portland, Oregon, the other set in Amarillo, Texas unfolds and by the last page we all understand just how much one would sacrifice to hide a secret. The timeline is both contemporary and reverts to the 1920's to the 1940's.
