Logline
StarSeed, a seastead off the coast of Tasmania founded by entrepreneurs and environmental activists, is now a prison under a bio-centric dictatorship. Most people are sterile. Markers such as ethnicity, culture, gender and sexual orientation are no longer divisive, as they once were onshore. In this alternative society, complex acts of supreme loyalty are the sole measure of survival. Lily, who is sterile, wants to have the last baby on earth; the Dark Green elite forbid it. She cheats her radical environmentalist lover Gem and he impregnates her fertile sister, Lotus. When he finds out he sets in chain a series of events that lead to the destruction of their home and heralds either renewal or destruction.

Short Summary
StarSeed was founded by green entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers and radical environmentalists. Since the Final Collapse, it’s become a prison led by Dovie in an eco-fascist, bio-centric dictatorship. In the onshore world the planet has gone dark, reverting to a pre-human state, with no survivors.
