Logline
Lori had heard rumors that the U.S. was going to be attacked on 9/11/2001. That was on September 9, 2001. She tried and failed to call home and give warning. The news that all those rumors were horribly true came on September 11th 2001. That was when her husband suddenly announced that they had to go back to the States in case there were repercussions. On September 12, 2001, Lori and her husband were at the Shiraz bus terminal intending to catch a bus to Istanbul and from there to Heathrow and home to the U.S.A. They were totally unprepared for the convoy of troop carriers that suddenly drove up and the armed men who came pouring out to take the hapless couple prisoner.

Development Pitch
This is my true story of going through life and having to deal with molestation from my brother at 10, being married at 15, in the army at 17, driving semis at age 19, obtaining my BSN in 1995 and moving to Iran with Mohammad in 1998 only to become OWNED by my Muslim husband once landing in Iran. It was then I learned you needed your husbands written permission to leave the country. I also learned that Mohammad would execute Iranian war vets so the govt. wouldn't have to deal with them. This was done under President Khatami. Throughout the story I also struggle with drug addiction and being caught passing false prescriptions. I lived in IRAN for four years and only because my husband wouldn't allow me to return to the USA. On SEPTEMBER 11th, 2001 Mohammad wanted to return to the USA in case they retaliated against the Middle East. We went to the Shiraz bus station to catch a bus to ISTANBUL and then fly home. After showing our passports a truck pulled up (a cattle type carrier truck, put a hood over my head and took me one way and Mohammad another. I later learned he might have had something to do with putting me in that POW camp. For six weeks I was handcuffed to a girl ; Faresh from Bahrain. We ate, defecated and sweated all in the same spot. Every two to three days they would come through and hose all of us off. They made us fight for our food like dogs. It was after they started publicly raping us is when we were helped to flee from the camp.
