    Brief

Jennifer tracks him down and finds a system of expatriate fugitives hiding in plain sight. In the end, she takes what she can get and tries to smuggle true love out of the island's corrupt dealings.

    What We Liked

    - The use of a former IRS agent instead of cop/CIA/FBI garners a bit of interest from the reader right away. Those that enjoy opulence and bling will fit in right away with the story's fascination over the rich and powerful.;
    - The story has good interconnected storylines - her past and her motivations are documented well enough that we get a sense of her character and motivations early, and we are not surprised by her decisions but rather by the excellence with which she performs them;
    - This narrative is well-paced for the summer action slot. It has a strong female lead which will play well with the current zeitgeist in mind and there is still enough sexual tension to keep the audience pining for more;
    - As a series, the viewer could expect Jennifer to take down many of the criminal billionaires that got away in her time at the IRS. Names she knew, cases she worked on, it seems each one of them has a weak spot that Jennifer could exploit to bring them down--all the while looking to take down the whale himself, Marshall Shore, who protects them all.

    Synopsis

    Jennifer Morton is a fantastic IRS agent. She takes her own liberties and gets her job done even if it means skirting the rules. Her only mistake was getting too comfortable with the press. When she gets let go from her government job, Jennifer takes on a new identity in order to track down the white collar scum that she couldn't put away the first time.

    With the help of a small team, she jets off to the Caymans to track down a single villain, but instead runs into a whole island full of hidden-away billionaires. In order to take her target down, Jennifer must play her cards right and make a name for herself with the management of this hidden paradise: Flamingo Enterprises.

    All starts out well. Jennifer finds herself an attractive manager named Jack and gets an invitation to meet the boss, Marshall Shore. Little does she know that the owner operator of Flamingo Enterprises, Mr. Shore himself, is actually her long lost father Michael Morton. Everything comes to a head when the CIA thwart Jennifer's efforts to take down her target and her cover is blown. But it seems Jennifer is one step ahead of them all, even if she doesn't always know it.

    Jennifer confronts the boss, her father, and he explains that CIA hid him away because they needed his help shuffling money through foreign banks. She doesn't have any sympathy for him, and her love interest kills his boss, Jennifer's father, alongside his head of security. The two make their way off the island, but not before dropping off the boss' files to a trusted source that brings them back to a CNN reporter in the states.
