Development Pitch
This book is a relatable true story about a woman who is not only looking for love, but is late to the game in finding herself. Having grown up in a wealthy environment and been coddled by her parents, she doesn't know how to define herself as she's always been told by someone else who to be, culturally. She is trying to break free of those stereotypes and lands herself in a marriage that is emotionally abusive. Being able to get out of this unscathed (just out a small chunk of change) and back into the crazy world of online dating, she wants to land on her own two feet, but is still trying to define who she is authentically. Sharing her hilarious stories with a heartfelt twist, this very Amy Schumer/Carrie Bradshaw-esque book is very relatable. As a film, audiences will be able to relate to the main character having gone through their own divorces and road to recoveries. They will laugh out loud at the visual storytelling of one night stands in a modern day world of online dating, but done in a way that is geared towards the millennial audience at heart. This is a movie that can be for the young and for the 90's nostalgics. It's about realizing that you sometimes have to step outside of your comfort zone and go all the way across the Atlantic to find your Prince Charming (befoe Megan Markle made it cool)....on an online dating app, no doubt! Mixing the Cinderella story with modern dating. But most importantly, finding your authentic self in the process.

Accuracy of Book Profile
Book Profile reflects book accurately.
Draw of Story
The vulnerability of the narrator turns her into a very relatable female character - as she gets to experiment her sexuality and freedom she is also faced with disappointments regarding her dreams and expectations.
Possible Drawbacks
Nothing made me want to put the book down, however, in order to make the narrative more modern, more insight could be offered as per protagonist's search for herself and her own truths and career instead of the main focus on finding love.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY DOES NOT RELY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
I would watch this movie because this character is very representative of women coming of age in the 90's/2000's, brave enough to end an unhappy marriage, experiment life experiences on her own and find true happiness as a complete human being.
Fanbase Potential
It could have a large fanbase if adapted because the protagonist is relatable and charismatic.
Awards Potential
It could have Awards potential if adapted as there are serious and also funny passages to be developed, cheerful and ludicrous characters that come and go into protagonist's life and amazing settings throughout the world.

What’s New About the Story
The most unique thing about this story is the process that the protagonist goes through as she gets to know herself and her capacities and grows into a more mature woman.
Lead Characters
The main thing about Lauren, the protagonist and narrator, is that after divorce she gets the chance to experiment life and relationships in levels she never imagined before, and even though she's been through many disappointments, she still manages to believe in love and follow her heart in the end.
Uniqueness of Story
It can be improved if given more insight regarding Lauren's search for herself and her motivations in life besides romantic love.

Analyst Recommendation
RECOMMEND
Justification
I recommend it because this story is lighthearted, protagonist is funny and charismatic, representative of a generation and it has great commercial potential.
Brief
Lauren had her dream wedding at 23, but finds out the hard way that life is not the fairy tale she imagined. Dealing with a divorce at 27, she is ready to look for love again - but love is going to wait until she digs deep inside herself for her own truths.
What We Liked
This is a genuine story about a charismatic narrator that retells her story as a typical American girl growing up in the 90's/2000's, representing a generation that wants more from their relationships. As Lauren dares to divorce at 27, she is out in the world looking for truer connections, not only with romantic love but also with friendships, family and herself.
Film: It would be a great Film adaptation because character arc is interesting, and protagonist/narrator goes from a naive girl getting married to a shady older boyfriend to a mature woman pursuing her happiness in all areas, but still unafraid to take risks and follow her heart.
TV: It would be a great adaptation for TV as many chapters and seasons can be developed from Lauren's quest for love, career, the cities she moved to and the trips she took on in order to develop herself into a more mature character.
Key points: Relatable female main character; funny lines and passages; beautiful scenarios throughout the world; nostalgic pop references; good character arc.
