I would like to see this as a mini series. During the series it will of course focus on the investigation into the murder and the reported missing persons in Clayton, but from episode to episode it would show the relationship of a father and his young teen sons. It will examine the main character's past and the death of his wife and the affect it had on him and his boys. Episodes would also cover the new friendship bond of the Sheriff and the Detective. We would also look at the new romantic relationship formed with the Owner of the town's only Hotel, Grace, and the detective. As the episodes progress, we learn the affect of what can happen to the people of a town when they make false accusations on one of their own residences. We would then focus on the political side of what it means if a town could earn a bad reputation. Visually the back drop of the series main location would be the stunning hills and lakes of Vermont. The quiet town of Hudson and its wide river. It would show the beautiful country of the US.
