Development Pitch
A dystopian trilogy set 70 years in the future, Earth's population has dropped from 7 billion to 500 million due to climate collapse, pandemics, wars, & declining sperm counts. North American survivers, ruled by One God, One Church, and One Government, have little personal freedom. Named a Provider at age l7, Noah Godbold is taken to a camp in the Adirondacks where he and 281 other youths must meet sperm quotas. One Government holds Noah, but One Church wants him for his emerging intuitive gifts (accurate foresight) and battles the government for his return. Book One chronicles Noah's challenging two years in Camp Five, where he discovers friendship, sensuality, and love. He fights for his freedom but loses to One Church in the end. Book Two centers on Noah's role within the church which he finally escapes, physically & emotionally. Book Three is the story of Noah's enlightenment & leadership in the savage world of 'outsiders' who win the ultimate battle for freedom for all & begin the work of healing our planet. The work has potential for a series, movie, or publication.
