Serena came to Trangor to participate in a professional hunt under strict rules. She breaks them to save a mother and son chased by monsters, entering the forbidden lands to do so. For this, she's to be executed. Only marrying a local alien will save her.
Although the marriage clause gives Serena the possibility to leave after 6 months, she falls in love with this world, with her husband, and the Ordosian's way of life.

Brief
Serena joins an alien hunt but accidentally breaks the rules to save an innocent mother and son from death. In trespassing she is sentenced to death, but since her noble act incurs a blood debt, the alien clan agrees to a loophole. Serena must marry the chief hunter Szaro, in order to be protected by law. She soon finds being married to a half snake man comes with all sorts of surprises and that maybe she doesn’t want to leave once their agreed upon six month trial is up.

One doesn’t come across a sci-fi novel about interspecies marriage with a realistic relationship every day. The premise is extremely intriguing in taking the forced marriage trope unto a whole new level by answering many anatomical and compatibility curiosities.
Possible Drawbacks
The characters are entertaining but the plot centers so much around the marriage that the characters can feel static even though the relationships are dynamic. It is unclear what the inner conflicts of many of the characters are outside of their external search of a partner.

The world building is extremely imaginative and well thought out. The characters are very likeable, but the focus is more on the plot rather than a transformation of the their inner conflicts.

There is definitely nothing out on the mainstream market that matches the worldbuilding of this story. With a little beefing up to make the characters shine in all three dimensions and additions to the plot regarding matters outside the marriage could help elevate the story to its full potential.
