Accuracy of Book Profile

It does, but the author could add more characters to the profile. And remove a duplication, as Daniel's character appears twice. Sha, as the leader of witches, could also be inserted as an antagonist.

Draw of Story

The author's writing style is fluid and entertaining. Right away, we already understand some rules of the magic universe and some characters' personalities. This introduction makes reading more enjoyable and gives us enough tools to follow the story.

Possible Drawbacks

The story has many twists that keep us engaged, but at a certain point, when the characters are all face to face, the subject is Daniel's betrayal of the kingdom and the rules. This part, at least in dialogue, could be reduced. We already know the son believes the father is guilty of everything. So, this repetition of sentences and people asking why Nathaniel is doing such a terrible thing ends up stagnating the narrative.

Use of Special Effects

THE STORY RELIES HEAVILY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

Primary Hook of Story

Despite the mythology behind witchcraft, the fantasy of a kingdom with time travelers, and restricted technologies, the hook is the forbidden love between two people. Through social command, the king's extra conjugal romance ends up bringing destruction to the kingdom. Love is the basis for the formation of a family and also the basis for the destruction of these people.

Fanbase Potential

Fiction and fantasy fans could be interested in this story. And with love as the central theme and universal subject, it could attract a larger audience.

Awards Potential

The narrative has enough beats and twists for a more complex plot. Just improving the central theme narrative of the forbidden love, making it more delicate and compelling, could increase the potential for awards.

GAME OF THRONES: DISPUTES BETWEEN KINGDOMS, BETRAYALS, A BASTARD CHILD WITH THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD, TIME TRAVEL, AND WITCHCRAFT ARE THE COMMON ELEMENTS IN BOTH PLOTS.

What’s New About the Story

As seen earlier, the proximity to Game of Thrones shows that the picks aren't 100% original, but they do exist. The mix of advanced technology in a period environment makes the plot seem more original.

Lead Characters

The characters are well designed. We know very well who is on which side. However, thankfully, the characters are not Manichean. Nobody in this plot is totally bad or good. Everyone has flaws and attitudes with initially positive intentions. This makes the whole narrative more complex.

Uniqueness of Story

It's not a rare gem because many of the elements seen here have already been inserted into previous audiovisual products. The idea of the bastard child who has the power to change things isn't new either. But the author manages to unite different characteristics of fantasy films into a narrative in a coherent way.

Analyst Recommendation

CONSIDER

Justification

Despite some problems, especially in very expository dialogue, the narrative is entertaining and attention-grabbing. The fantasy universe created is exciting and transports us to a new environment and time. The characters are also well built. Right away, we know the intentions of each one, so plot twists are not in charge of unrevealed intentions but guaranteed by the own plot. The characters also bring complexity because everyone believes they are doing the right thing. Nathaniel believes he is entitled to the throne when he discovers his father's betrayal. Daniel thinks he did the right thing because he found his true love. Sha believes in being on the right side. Everyone there has flaws and thinks they're doing the right thing, so the complexity of each character elevates the plot. The story introduces many elements of the fantasy universe, such as time travelers, wizards, dark magic, and a chosen child who needs protection. However, these elements are inserted gradually and smoothly. Despite the excessive amount of features, everything seems to match in some way. The central and universal theme of love is an interesting hook to attract an audience that wouldn't be attracted exclusively by the fantastic setting of distant realms. Overall, it's a story with lots of twists and many narrative lines and subplots that work well together. It would need to be overall polished and have dialogue and some narrative choices improved, but in general, it's good source material.
