Not everything is at it seems for NYC Detective Karl Dieter. One simple event in the life of a victim can cause dominoes to fall creating a trail of deceit, extortion, murder and much more. Detective Karl Dieter revisits a cold case from the terrible day of September 11th when New York City and the Twin Towers were attacked by terrorists. With the assistance of Lindsay Riccardi, PhD - who is dealing with PTSD caused by violent trauma – they step into a world covered by curtains of secrecy.
