    Synopsis

PASTOR GLEN lives in Casper, Wyoming with his pregnant wife. He moves her to a young Las Vegas,
where he feels there are more people who need his ministrations. His wife and child die during birth,
and he builds a non-denominational chapel that is tranquil and inviting, as he knew his wife would
want. He performs countless weddings, but his hollow heart causes him to move back to Wyoming.
The Chapel of Eternal Love changes many hands over the years. ROSEMARY, the office administrator
for the last twenty years, arrives daily with her small dog Buster and spruces up the place, then sits
down to her crossword or knitting.
The parade of customers include GARTH and MATTIE, both on Harley Davidsons. OSCAR and SARAH,
both widowed, met at the cemetery. EMMY, an escort who leaves a regular client who refused to leave
his wife, DEXTER, at the altar. GIOVANNI and BECKY, who go against their families’ religions for love.
KATHLEEN and KURT, who met over the death of her brother at war. JAKE and ROSA, who will marry
over a financial agreement so she can stay at the country - all the while trying to take care of her sick
family. LESTER and CHESTER, two identical twins who fell in love with identical twins MOLLY and
DOLLY. PRU, a high school friend of Rosemary, who wants to marry a much younger fella, CHAD.
MAVIS, BOBBY, VAL, and MIKE, all heads of their local Elvis fan clubs, who met through letters and
ended up having a double wedding at the chapel years ago and were there to renew their vows. Each
couple has a child, ELVIS and PRISCILLA, and they will also marry at the chapel. A very realistic Elvis
impersonator enters the chapel with a flourish and sings a few of the couple’s favorite songs.
The days go by, and so do the couples marrying at the chapel. CORY and HEIDI met in Utah and fell in
love, but Cory went to Bolivia on a two year mission trip as part of the Mormon church. SHERRI is a
prostitute about to be saved by nice guy TAYLOR. DEREK and BETTY SUE are a young couple who
don’t look happy to be there, due to an unplanned pregnancy. RENEE and PETER, who met at jury duty.
LINH came from Vietnam with her daughter, who ends up finding her father, PHIL, the love of Lihn’s
life, and they end up marrying at the chapel. MITCH and DIANA, a Hollywood couple who reconciles
with counseling and end up re-marrying at the Chapel. JULIAN and HALEY, who unite despite one
being from Hawaii, and the other one from New York.
Finally, Pastor Glenn stops by. Rosemary is delighted to finally meet him. He wants to hear about all
the weddings that have happened at the chapel he built so long ago. Rosemary invites him over for
    dinner
