What if H.G. Wells, George Orwell, and H.P. Lovecraft were to come back and collaborate on a science fiction/dystopian/horror novel set in contemporary times? They just might come up with a speculative fiction novel like this one: In the Midst by Teresa K McElhinny [nom de plume TERESA KAYE]. Hideous screeching monsters exuding a wretched foul odor comes popping through to Earth via portals from another dimension, amid a massive governmental false flag operation. What's not to like? Teresa has written scripts for: Her Latin class Roman Banquet/Saturnalia; opening segments for a Filipino women's television program; monthly readers theater performances at a senior center; "Crime & Cupcakes" mystery dessert theater; and most recently a one act play for community theater based upon a story in a local celebrity's weekly newspaper column. She began this story as a serial installment for Jukepop Serials several years back, but had to discontinue writing due to a medical crisis with her husband. Recently she has completed the novel, and hopes you also see the potential of IN THE MIDST on screen.
