T. L. Young graduated from the University of Hawaii in English and Theater. His one-act play, “Accumulating Scars” won the Kumu Kahua Playwriting Award in 1998. Young also self-published the book, “American Nudist: The Lost Journal,” and a feature film, “Micky’s Summer Resort” distributed by Troma Now! Young is an alumnus of Creative Lab Hawaii in both the Screenwriters and Producers Accelerator from 2015 to 2017. He co-wrote “Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance” distributed by Cinema Epoch, and has also produced two popular short films for “Claxtonfest,” a Hawaii based film festival. He is currently producing an independent film to be shot in Hawaii called, "The Photographer."
