Development Pitch
Saving a Life embodies all the aspects of true life tragedy told within a fictional story. Similar in emotions as stories such as, Fried Green Tomatoes, Driving Miss Daisy, and On Golden Pond, Walter faces tremendous tragedy and guilt. An enormous loss that he can't find his way back from, it connects with a wide range of audiences. Many of us have dealt with life changing tragedy, especially this last year and I think not only is walter relatable but there's a piece of him in all of us. And the knowledge that eventually he can find peace gives hope.
