Short Summary
A beheading has occurred at Fort Leavenworth involving the Commanding General’s wife. At first investigators believe the murder is a terrorist attack, but soon the focus is on Military Judge Francis O’Connor who was having an affair with Bunny Harris. Jack Garrett is assigned to defend O’Connor.
Garrett and Wells seem to solve the murder mystery. The Commanding General is beheaded just like his wife while O’Connor is in jail. O’Connor is freed and Wells and Garrett ride into the happily ever after until Garrett finds out Wells’ secret.

Development Pitch
December 1, 2018. Bunny Harris, wife of the Commanding General of Fort Leavenworth, is found brutally beheaded and the Arabic word for “Dust” scrawled in blood above her bed. MAJOR CAMERON WELLS, chief defense lawyer at Fort Leavenworth, is told by the Army’s top lawyer that if she doesn’t take the defense of the Bunny Harris case her career is over. December 1, 2018 JACK GARRETT, a former special ops soldier turned lawyer and fixer to LA’s elite, is supposed to kick back and complete two weeks of Army reserve duty at Fort Leavenworth writing wills. When Garrett arrives, plans change. He is ordered to represent a judge he hates for the murder of Bunny Harris. He is about to defend a case with Cameron Wells that will change their lives forever.
