Have you ever wanted to right an injustice, help a person in need, or give to a cause you believe in, then thought, I’d like to help, but what can I do? Willie Nugent felt the same way. Then one day, he found himself volunteering for a sponsored cycle ride ( he didn’t even own a bike at the time he volunteered!) and after he made the trip, he was hooked on Fundraising. Drawing on his imagination, humour, and determination, he’s raised more than £1 million for charity. A World of Good will inspire you to do what you can to help others. As Willie says “ Giving just a little will not solve the worlds problems , but it does make a difference, and at the end of your day, you can look back, and say, “ At least I tried “. When Willie was born he was only giving days to live , but he pulled through , he is now in his 70s . as a “ Thank You “ all through life his spare time has been taking up helping those less fortunate than himself.
