Logline
Homosexuality, A.I.D.S. and Voodoo is the story of the Jackson family, growing up in the rough and tumble housing projects of Memphis, TN. during the climax of the Civil Rights Movement. Two of the family members both contract the deadly A.I.D.S. virus at a time when very little was known about it. Dealing with that and other major issues causes the family to almost break apart.

Short Summary
The story picks up with the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, (the family lived less than a mile from where he was killed) and then we watch as the Jackson family deals with domestic abuse, homosexuality and bullying. All of these are major issues in any generation, especially the 70's.
